STORYLINE:
Aqaba Bird Observatory of Jordan was a habitat for some 390 species of European and African migratory birds, while the site is no longer an attraction for many of those birds this spring.
The observatory contained artificial habitat for migratory species, including water bodies generated from treated sewage water nearby, manager of the Aqaba Bird Observatory Feras Rahahleh told Xinhua in a recent interview.
Due to an adjustment of the surrounding sewage treatment facility, the input amount of water was dramatically decreased, he said, adding that two of the three major water bodies at the observatory have totally dried up and the final one would be
