Volunteers adopted drones to help disinfect public spaces on Saturday amid the latest COVID-19 resurgence in Changchun, northeast China's Jilin Province, so as to avoid possible cross-infection during manual disinfection.
The Chinese mainland on Saturday reported 1,656 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, down from 2,157 on Friday, the National Health Commission said Sunday. Of the new local infections, 1,191 were reported in Jilin.
