"Hi, I'm Gu Yu with Xinhua News Agency. I'm here in the heart of Taklamakan Desert in southern Xinjiang. The road under my feet is the famous Tarim Desert Highway. The 522-km long highway traverses through the Taklamakan Desert, the world's second-largest shifting sand desert.
