STORYLINE:
The Hellenic Red Cross sent 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine on Tuesday, officials said in Athens.
This was the third batch of material aid sent by the Greek chapter of the International Committee of the Red Cross, its president Antonios Avgerinos said.
The aid consists of bottled water, food, medical supplies and medication, generators and other essentials, he explained.
