"Now I'm in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. Heilongjiang boasts bountiful wetland resources, with 55,600 square km of wetlands, which has become a paradise for wild birds."
Heilongjiang lies in the middle of the East Asian-Australasian flyway, one of the busiest flyways in the world.
Many migratory birds from South Korea, Japan, Russia and Mongolia rest and breed here.
According to local authorities, Heilongjiang is home to 390 species of birds, with over 100 species listed as "birds under national protection."
