STORYLINE:
Rwanda began the 28th commemoration of the 1994 genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi on Thursday.
At the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a flame of remembrance was lit to burn for 100 days of mourning. This memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the genocide.
At the memorial, Rwandan President Paul Kagame condemned the ones who still have the genocide ideology.
He reminded the audience that the Rwanda Patriotic Army (RPA) restrained itself from revenging against the genocide perpetrators.
Kagame also told off those questioning Rwanda's justice system the basis of which some countries are reluctant to extradite genocide suspects to Kigali.
