Chile reported 1,172 COVID-19 cases and seven deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours. COVID-19 has caused a total of 3,531,529 confirmed infections and 57,270 deaths in the country, the Ministry of Health reported on Monday.
The government body stated that the COVID-19 positivity rate was 4.59 percent on the national level, while in the metro region of the capital Santiago, the COVID-19 positivity rate was 5.52 percent.
