STORYLINE:
Myanmar's State Administration Council (SAC) said late Tuesday that they have enough fuel supply as panic buying occurred at petrol stations amid worries about fuel shortage.
According to a release from the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, 45 million gallons of petrol and 70 million gallons of diesel are currently in Myanmar.
Meanwhile, two ships loaded with fuel are not still unloading at the port due to the Myanmar Thingyan holidays, the release said.
A spokesperson of the SAC's Information Team said fuel imported by the companies will also be on its way to Myanmar.
On Tuesday morning, photos and videos posted on social media showed long queues of vehicles at petrol stations across the country, and hardly hit people worried about fuel shortages.
