As a slew of COVID-19 mild cases and asymptomatic carriers have been discharged from makeshift hospitals in east China's Shanghai, many vacant beds are converted into standard nursing beds for patients with severe symptoms.
The upgrade is in process at Lingang Makeshift Hospital, where 2,000 of the temporary hospital's 13,600 beds will be converted into hospital beds.
