In Afghanistan's Bamiyan province, Bazaarcha-e-Hunar used to be a popular handicraft market.
In recent months, the market selling products made by local women has been losing popularity as tourism has dwindled to almost nothing.
After the Taliban's takeover of the country last August, the U.S. government has frozen nearly 10 billion U.S. dollars of Afghan central bank assets, which has worsened the war-torn country's already fragile economy.
U.S. President Joe Biden issued a decree in February, allocating 3.5 billion dollars of the Afghan assets for 9/11 victims' families and another 3.5 billion dollars for humanitarian assistance in Afgha
