STORYLINE:
The first crested ibis birdling hatched via artificial breeding emerged from its shell last weekend in Hanzhong in China's Shaanxi.

"Since March 2022, the artificially bred crested ibises in the nature reserve have entered the breeding season. By April 24, the artificially bred crested ibises have hatched 17 chicks. They have been growing well. The breeding center will also collect some eggs from the crested ibises, and conduct artificial hatching by imitating natural conditions."
