Developed by Barcelona's Local architectural cooperative, La Borda is currently Spain's tallest wooden building, with 28 apartments and various communal spaces, such as a kitchen-dining area, laundry, patio and guest rooms.
On getting the award, La Borda was described as "transgressive" and praised for its "co-management of shared resources and capacities."
