The heavily armed shooter surrendered to local police after killing 10 people and injuring three at a supermarket on Saturday afternoon in Buffalo, located near the Canadian border in northwestern New York State. The gunman, identified as Payton Gendron, was taken into custody and transported to Buffalo Police Headquarters.
