The event was led and organized by the Tunisian National Institute of Marine Science and Technology. A total of 93 organizations and a large number of young volunteers participated in the event. Volunteers collected waste plastics, glass bottles, iron and waste paper on the beaches, and sorted them for recycling. The organizers said they have organized such activities for three consecutive years, which will raise public awareness of ocean protection.
