As the global community marked the International Day for Biological Diversity on Sunday, Ethiopia is seeking to accelerate its sustainable biodiversity conservation endeavor.
In a recent interview with Xinhua, Melese Mario, director-general of the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute (EBI), said that Ethiopia, one of the earliest signatories to the Convention on Biological Diversity, has worked hard to put biodiversity conservation high on its domestic policy agenda.
