The Nigerian government on Wednesday announced it had received 166 citizens from Libya at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, the nation's economic hub.
Ibrahim Farinloye, head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Lagos, told Xinhua, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) brought them back to the country through a voluntary repatriation program for distressed people.
Farinloye assured them that the government was conscious of the aspirations of the youth and was providing an enabling environment where everyone would achieve their full potential.
