CHINA-LAOS RAILWAY-OPERATION-HALF A YEAR

(220603) -- VIENTIANE, June 3, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Workers of Luang Prabang Operation Management Center under the Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd. (LCRC) conduct maintenance work of devices in Luang Prabang Province, Laos, May 28, 2022. The China-Laos Railway, half a year into its operation, has delivered more than 4 million tonnes of freight as of Thursday, China's railway operator said. This new phase sees the technology threading through the vibrant streets of populous metropolises, navigating the challenging topography of mountainous regions and making inroads into sectors such as agriculture and retail. Against this backdrop, the 39-year-old has more expectations for the future.
