The drill covers the entire process of oil spill reporting, emergency resource mobilization, oil spill monitoring, pollution containment and removal. The "decision support system for marine pollutants" was put into use for the first time by Qinhuangdao Vessel Pollution Emergency Command Center. During the cross-regional joint drill, participants from the cities of Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Yantai and Tianjin successfully set up three defense lines for marine pollutants and set up oil booms along the shoreline.
