Egypt's Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamea said on Sunday that the country's commodity exports have set a record in 2021, achieving $32.3 billion; a 27 percent increase compared to the previous year.
This came during Gamea's review of the ministry's plan before the parliament, as she was reviewing the plan of facing the repercussions of the global economic crisis.
Gamea said that the export rates have grown in 12 sectors.
The minister also referred that the indications of the current year's Q1 (January - March) registered a noticeable rise in the commodity exports, asserting that the government is planning to make the value of
