STORYLINE:
Northwestern Chinese city of Xi'an is rich in historic relics as it once had been China's ancient capital city for 13 dynasties or empires.
It boasts one of the most well-preserved ancient city walls in China, which was built in the 1370s during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and used as fortification for military defense.
The rectangular construction is over four kilometers long from east to west and about three kilometers long from north to south.
