Every year the town holds an event which looks to bring together residents and neighbors to celebrate past traditions. The traditional celebration "Bueyada" sees a herd of oxen, which are castrated male cattle, brought into the village from the surrounding area by a group of around 50 riders on horseback. The fiesta recreated the past when riders used to herd fighting bulls, but the fact the oxen have been castrated means they are calm beasts and that it is also safe for children to join the riders.
