STORYLINE:
The annual Pasadena Chalk Festival returned to Pasadena, California from June 18 to June 19, attracting over 600 skilled chalk artists from all over the world to celebrate the unique art form.
During the event, attendees could see artists at work and talk with them about their pieces.
Founded in 1993, the festival started with 150 artists at Centennial Square.
In 2010, it set a Guinness World Record as the largest street painting festival.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the event to be held virtually in the past two years.
