"Military delegations from Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine are expected to meet with a United Nations delegation in Istanbul today (Wednesday) to find ways to export Ukrainian grain safely to global markets.
According to the Turkish Defence Ministry, the delegations will work on creating a safe corridor on the Black Sea to transfer grain from Ukrainian ports to international markets.
The meeting comes at a time when global food prices have soared with growing concerns about food shortages due to the prolonged crisis in Ukraine.
