BANGLADESH-COX'S BAZAR-FISHING BAN

(220716) -- COX'S BAZAR, July 16, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Two fishing boats are moored in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh on July 13, 2022. Like previous years, Bangladesh banned fishing off its coast for 65 days from May 20 in order to help ensure smooth breeding of fish and boost depleted fish stocks. The once bustling fishermen's wharfs in places in Cox's Bazar, some 400 southeast of capital Dhaka, lie dormant, with dozens of fishing boats tied along the shores. (Xinhua)
