STORYLINE:
Many college graduates working in northwest China's Shaanxi Province have employed new techniques to revive Chinese traditional handicrafts and helped pass on the country's intangible cultural heritage.
Fengxiang clay sculptures are fashioned from the unique earth found in Liuying Village, Fengxiang County. The craft was included in a national protection project for intangible cultural heritage in 2006.
Hu Jinwei, 28, is one of the inheritors of the techniques. Majoring in product designing, he has been devoted to promoting the Fengxiang clay sculpture.
