STORYLINE:
Egypt's official statistics agency, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), said on Tuesday the country registered a 9.3 percent drop in traffic injuries in 2021 compared to 2020.
The number of traffic injuries fell to 51,511 in 2021, down from 56,789 in 2020.
However, railway-related deaths increase
The Egyptian government has been implementing multi-billion-pound projects to replace hundreds of old train carriages.
