STORYLINE:
To celebrate the International Day of Tiger on Friday, authorities of Nicaragua's National Zoo urge visitors to become aware of respecting the endangered Bengal tigers' original habitat and ensure their conservation.
The zoo in Managua now houses seven Bengal tigers. The species first arrived in Nicaragua in 1983.
