STORYLINE:
A Kazak embroiderer from northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has been improving her work by learning Su Xiu (Suzhou Embroidery), one of the four major Chinese embroidery styles.
The 45-year-old Hatma Enedu met with Lu Fuying, an inheritor of Su Xiu, while taking part in an embroidery training course in 2019 in east China's Jiangsu Province.
Two years later, Enedu again got in touch with Lu again and came under Lu's tutorship.
Enedu believed that the complex needlework of Su Xiu is quite inspiring.
