STORYLINE:
After the European Union(EU) in July removed the final obstacles for Croatia to adopt the euro, the country is preparing for life with the new currency.
Croatia schedules the official adoption on Jan. 1, 2023. This is the first expansion of the currency block in almost a decade as Croatia is becoming the twentieth member of the eurozone.
