The 148.74-km Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway links Beijing and Tangshan, a port city in north China's Hebei Province. With a design speed of 350 km per hour, the railway has eight stations on its route.    The Beijing-Binhai New Area high-speed railway is the second intercity express railway connecting Beijing and Tianjin's Binhai New Area. Upon completion of the 172-km railway, the travel time of full length will only be 57 minutes. The two intercity railways will effectively promote the integrated and coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.    Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Tianjin, China.
