Türkiye's annual inflation rate will start to ease sharply in December and the fall will continue in 2023, the country's Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati said Tuesday.
The reason behind the rapid increase in the country's inflation rate in the first seven months was the Turkish lira's loss of value, but the rise has been eased recently, Nebati told the NTV news channel.
Türkiye's annual inflation hit 79.6 percent in July, the highest level in 24 years.
The country is facing financial woes unseen in decades.
