STORYLINE:
The Spanish cabin staff of Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair started a new round of strikes on Monday in 10 airports across the country.
The strikes, organized by the Spanish unions USO and Sitcpla, will take place 24 hours a day from Monday to Thursday every week till Jan. 7 next year.
They demand improved working conditions for 1,600 workers.
The strike led to six cancellations and 191 delays on the first day of the strike.
The latest strike follows two previous waves of limited stoppages by Ryanair cabin crew in June and July that caused over 300 cancellations and more than 3,000 delays.
