Evacuation order lifted in Fukushima nuclear plant town
A train runs on Aug. 30, 2022, in the Fukushima Prefecture town of Futaba, northeastern Japan, that co-hosts the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. An evacuation order was partially lifted allowing the return of residents to the town at midnight Aug. 29, about 11 and a half years after the March 2011 nuclear crisis.
