STORYLINE:
At a community borehole in Glen View, a high-density low-income township west of Zimbabwe's capital Harare, scores of residents, mostly women and children, gathered to collect water.
The borehole is part of a Presidential Borehole Drilling Project that was initiated by Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa earlier this year to provide clean water to urban residents.
Under the project, the Harare metropolitan region is expected to get over 200 solar-powered boreholes. Other cities will also benefit from the project.
