STORYLINE:
Due to sustained hot weather and low precipitation, a 400-year-old stone bridge has emerged from Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake.
It was constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

"We come to check the bridge every year. The bridge has emerged 3-4 months earlier than previous years. It usually emerges from Poyang Lake in winter.
Poyang Lake officially entered this year's dry season on Aug. 6.
It's the earliest date since records started in 1951.
