State-run TRT broadcaster reported that at least nine Islamic State (IS) suspects were detained in police raids in Türkiye's capital Ankara on Monday.
Ankara police launched an operation against 10 foreign suspects, who were allegedly in contact with IS members in the conflict zones, the report said.
Nine of the suspects were detained in the operation, while the police continue to search for the last one, it added.
Last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkish security forces captured senior IS figure Bashar Hattab Ghazal al Sumaidai.
The Turkish government designated the IS a terrorist organization in 2013, and has held the group responsible for a spate of deadly attacks inside the country since 2015.
