Nepal: Dashain festival and swing

A Nepali Hindu man is silhouetted against the sun as he plays swing on the outskirts of Kathmandu. There is a common belief that one should leave the grounds and take flight on Dashain, the fornightly festival dedicated to Goddess Durga who killed the demon and brought rejoice to the lives of gods as well as the people.
