Kenya on Friday announced that it will start buying livestock from farmers in areas worst hit by drought among other measures to mitigate the impact of ravaging drought in the East African country.
The new measures were announced by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua following a meeting with the representatives from counties worst hit by the drought and development partners.
