STORYLINE:
Following an influx of refugees from Sudan to eastern Chad, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has started providing vital support to meet education needs of the children fleeing with their parents.
Recurrent fighting in the troubled region has forced people to abandon their homes and seek safety in neighboring countries.
Around 400,000 Darfur refugees have lived in Chad since the conflict began nearly two decades ago.
