Jordan's Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh reshuffled his cabinet on Thursday. According to a royal court statement, King Abdullah II approved the reshuffle.
The latest cabinet reshuffle changed nearly a third of cabinet ministers. The finance, foreign and interior ministers were kept in place. Of 11 new ministers, three are women.
The new ministers were sworn in before King Abdullah II.
It was the fifth cabinet shakeup under al-Khasawneh, who had been appointed by King Abdullah in 2020.
