STORYLINE:
Three hundred new energy vehicles (NEV) manufactured by a local subsidiary of Chinese automaker SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) will serve as shuttle cars at the upcoming G20 Bali summit.
The Wuling Air EV model rolled off the production line in Bekasi, Indonesia this August.
The mini NEVs are able to go up to three hundred kilometers on one charge, which can cover the delegations' daily needs.
The vehicles are maintained on a daily basis. They are recharged, cleaned and checked for functionality regularly.
