STORYLINE:
Food prices in Spain went up 15.4 percent year on year in October.
That's according to the latest data released by the National Statistics Institute.
Sugar prices saw the largest increase, which climbed by 42.8 percent.
The level of core inflation, which excludes fresh food and energy prices, remained at 6.2 percent.

"I would expect inflation to remain in Spain at around this level until the end of the year and for us to resume the downward path in 2023."
