"Hi everyone, this is Ding Ting with Xinhua News Agency. I'm now on the vessel of maritime affairs from Shanghai. Just a few minutes ago, the shipwreck named "Yangtze River Estuary No.2" has been successfully salvaged after its accident 150 years ago.
The Yangtze No.2 Ancient Shipwreck, one of the largest and best-preserved wooden shipwrecks discovered underwater in China to date, was lifted out of water in Shanghai early Monday.
As a milestone of China's underwater archaeology, the shipwreck was detected in 2015 during a key underwater survey.
