STORYLINE:
A Chinese medical team in Ghana has launched a project to help low-income patients who need laparoscopic or cataract surgeries.
Team chief Yu Dongnan said at the launching ceremony on Monday that the project would support 50 cases of laparoscopic surgeries and provide free cataract surgeries for 100 patients.
Mahama Asei Seini, deputy minister for health, lauded the Chinese medical team for its support.
