"November 2022 has clocked highest retails in the history of Indian automobile industry with March 2020 as an exception when retails were higher due to BS-4 to BS-6 (emission standards) transition," FADA President Manish Raj Singhania said in a statement. He said auto retail in November saw an overall growth of 26 percent thanks to festive sales during India's wedding season from mid-November to mid-December, where around 3.2 million weddings are expected to be solemnized across the country.
