Experimental maglev train

An experimental linear maglev train traveled on its ownengine for the first time along a specially designed track in Tsuru,Yamanashi Prefecture, in central Japan on Feb. 17. The magnetically levitated train will run at more than 550 kilometers per hour when it goes into normal operation.
