Sondral powers his way to Olympic gold

Norway's Aadne Sondral punches the air in delight after capturing Olympic gold in the men's 1,500-meter speed skating on Feb. 12 in a new world record time of 1 minute, 47.87 seconds. Sondral delighted the huge crowd at Nagano's M-Wave track by smashing the old mark set by Holland's Rintje Ritsma by more than a second.
