Pechstein powers to Olympic gold medal

Germany's Claudia Pechstein displays total concentration as she breaks the world 5,000-meter speed skating world record Feb. 20 at Nagano's M-Wave indoor track. Pechstein repeated as the Olympic 5,000 meters queen, squeezing out compatriot Gunda Niemann-Stirnemann by 0.4 second. Kazakstan's Lyudmila Prokasheva took bronze.
