Toshiba unveils new DVD players, and large-screen projection television

Toshiba America Consumer Products Inc. announces May 19 that it will market a new line of digital videodisk (DVD)-video players and large-screen projection televisions in the U.S. toward the end of the year. The U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Toshiba Corp. will provide the world's first DVD-video players with a new technology called ''ColorStream Pro'' progressive scan, the company said.
