Japan unveils bridge bank plan
Former Japanese Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa (standing) addresses a joint session of government and ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leaders called Thursday July 2 to adopt a bridge bank plan aimed to salvage the country's financial system by speeding up disposal of bad loans.
